Popular Threads
There can be compromises too. Our CEO does not draft the blogs himself, but he does choose the topics and makes the final edits/adds/etc.
I guess that's what you have to do when you have so little time to actually sit in front of a computer.
One of the things about collaboration and transparency and these types of topics is the inequity with which we expect leaders to either engage or participate (but ultimately encourage "the crowds" to get in there - post content - share your knowledge) without the information or knowledge or content from the leaders "making it into the system."
One of the things I noticed recently was an image or line which said "Leaders who can act on suggestions are watching this thread" or something like that - just seeing that language made me wonder how much more content will be there and/or if it were indeed true. The way users know a leader is there is to see the comments, right?
I know - I'm often told it is an imperfect world and that it is a "marathon and not a sprint." I've been talking about "this stuff" for years, and, when I finally see some real movement, I'm not exactly thrilled with the direction it is going.
Thanks for the comment.
